Though the source on this ad is not quite clear, the shadow billboard is quite clever on a few levels (I've seen it attributed to a German branch of DDB, whose website is not functioning). Not only is the construction and concept brilliant, but it also functions selectively. On days that are not ideal to test-drive a convertible— i.e. cloudy/rainy weather, the ad does not appear to passersby.
